I am proud that we are already a Smokefree site and I pledge to continue to support the Breathe 2025 campaign.

I pledge to be part of the Smokefree generation and do all that I can to support patients and staff in stopping smoking.

I worked as a doctor for nearly 30 years now and through that time I’ve seen so many people come to harm because of smoking. I think the Breathe 2025 campaign is a fantastic approach for Yorkshire to take to get the next generation of people living here free of smoking. My pledge is to lead a group in this trust to reduce smoking rates in local patients and to help staff to quit.

I’m pledging to the Breathe 2025 campaign by making sure that our staff and patients have lots of access to information and resources to help them stop smoking and live happier, healthier lives.

Smoking is one of the biggest killers across Barnsley. I pledge to help our patients and staff give up smoking by making sure that they’re aware of the health risks and the resources are available to help them stop.

I want to be part of a smoke free generation, that will see the lives of thousands transformed because there will be far fewer deaths and illnesses caused by smoking. I want to be at the front of leading this change, by making health promotion part of my everyday, so that every contact I have might be an opportunity to encourage somebody to change their smoking behaviour.

We pledge to promote and maintain a smoke free environment at meetings and events and promote a smoke free vision via social media. We pledge to educate young people about the harms of tobacco and offer support to those who want to stop smoking.

I pledge to continue to campaign as a Cancer Research Campaigns Ambassador to help inspire a smoke free generation and help to beat cancer sooner.

As a Cancer Research UK Ambassador I pledge to spread the awareness of the evidence that supports the need to stop smoking and the damage that every single cigarette causes on the body. Also, to speak with my MP and Councillors to gain their support in respect of CRUK current campaign on smoking. Andy.
