That FRESH-SMOKEFREE NORTH EAST will support colleagues in Yorkshire and the Humber on achieving our shared vision of 5% by 2025. We also will work in partnership across the North East to make smoking history for our children and fully support Breathe 2025 and all the work to inspire a smoke free generation.

To encourage all patients who are smokers to consider the benefits of stopping smoking, no matter what age they are.

We pledge our commitment to go smoke free as a trust on 1st March 2016. We also pledge to be supportive and understanding towards our patients, carers, visitors and staff who smoke and ensure that help is available to help manage their addiction to nicotine.
